Out of the box, WooCommerce sends every stock notification to a single store-wide email address. That’s fine for a one-person shop and miserable for anyone else. This plugin adds extra recipients and routes each one based on the product’s category — so the supplier of the SKU that just sold out gets the alert, and the warehouse manager for a different category doesn’t.
It’s hierarchical, so a rule on a parent category covers its children unless you exclude them. It’s variation-aware, so the alert fires on the variation that hit zero, not the parent product. Configure it once and stop forwarding stock emails by hand.
